This evening, Selena opened a bottle of 1997 Charles Krug Napa Valley Cabernet Sauvignon. I thought is was the best wine I've had in three years. Selena thought she was going to throw up.
Also, on Easter Sunday we had some friends and neighbors over for a little party where we did some blind wine tasting.
We put a couple $2 Charles Shaw (a.k.a. Two Buck Chuck) wines from Trader Joe's up against two $8 bottles from Berringer and Rodney Strong.
The Charles Shaw wines won both categories - sauvignon blanc and cabernet sauvignon.
That just goes to show that tastes differ, so drink what you like. Cheers!
