Off to New York!

Yo! I'm off to New York tonight. My college roommate, Matt, is getting hitched. Yay Matt!

I've booked a bit of time before and after the wedding to do some bummin' around in the city. Here's what I've got planned:

1. The Museum of Modern Art (currently in Queens)
2. The Cooper-Hewitt Museum of Design
3. Possibly go to Glass
4. Possibly eat at Nobu (bottom of the page)

Sunday night, I'm staying at the Paramount. (I can only afford one night there.) Yay design! Yay me!

Can you tell I'm amped? Ok, please post a comment if you have any other suggestions for things to see and people to do...strike that, reverse it.

Nice, how did you know about the Paramount? Note, it's not labeled so you just have to know where it is. :)

Definitely hit up the Cooper-Hewitt. It's a museum just for people like us. Also, if you want some good Indian, try Pongal on Lexington between 27th and 28th. It's Southern Vegetarian Indian(and Kosher), which is impossible to get out here. Though, I just learned of a place in Mountain View, but I still don't know of any in the city or anywhere else on the Peninsula.

You should also check out that bar/club place that is totally hooked up with cameras and a total pick up joint. I think you IM and videochat with people across the room. Sad, but an experience nonetheless.

Do not eat at Burritoville or any mexican food. Do visit a 24-hour diner, eat some H&H bagels and at Dunkin' Donuts.
